Highest Quality in the Supply Chain

Wear-Tek began embracing the concepts, strategies and philosophy of Lean Manufacturing in 2005. The effects have been far reaching and include: increased efficiency in our production processes, improved documentation and a more engaged and motivated workforce. As a result we have become a more cost effective foundry option that reliably delivers castings on time, while consistently meeting the required quality standards. Continuous improvement remains a primary focus.

From initial concept to production casting to finished product our seasoned professionals offer expertise in the following areas:

In house pattern shop with traditional bench capabilities, CNC machined master patterns and shell core boxes from computer models.

Shell and no-bake.

Automated green sand production line; 20 x 26 matchplate with PLC controlled sand production, mold handling and shakeout.
Chemically bonded (no-bake) mold handling line; provides significant diversification of casting size and quantity as well as improved dimensional accuracy.

Two induction furnace lines producing 3000 pounds per hour.
